The Success of Counting Crows

Counting Crows is one of the greatest rock bands to come out of Berkeley, California. The band has released five albums and they have sold over 20 millions records. In 1994, Counting crows had mainstream success one year after the release of their debut album. They continued their initial success in the mid-nineties, and received an Academy Award nomination for the song "Accidentally in Love" in 2004. The song was featured in the movie Shrek 2, a major worldwide sensation and the second installment of the Shrek film franchise, the most lucrative animated film franchise in history.
