Baby shower invitations generally follow themes revolving around either the sex of the baby or the interests of the expectant parents. However, whatever the theme, certain basic information should be included in baby shower invitations, such as baby registry location, driving directions for out of town guests and, of course, the date, time and location of the shower and the names of the expectant mother and the hostess. Some baby registries will even provide cards for inclusion with the baby shower invitations as an extra touch. Also be sure to include special instructions relating to meals and gifts, if necessary, and RSVP particulars. Be sure to send out the baby shower invitations well in advance of the event.
